Laboratory Assistant (Microbiology media preparation)

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic individual to join our busy team in providing quality microbiological services to a large client base in Sydney west.

Essential duties: Media preparation, sterilisation and stock control of supplies to support the operations of our water and food testing facility.

Qualities expected from applicants for this position are as follows:

Ability to work effectively in a fast pace environment with attention to detail
Good understanding of microbiological aseptic techniques
Reliable team player with positive attitude and good organisational skills
Good communication skills

The ideal candidate will have a certificate in laboratory skills or experience in media preparation.
